Oleh Bolyuk
Doctor of Art Studies, a Ukrainian artist, art historian, and researcher of cultural heritage. His creative practice was shaped at the intersection of academic training in architecture and professional education in artistic woodcraft.

In his work, he draws on the traditions of Ukrainian folk art, sacred culture, and decorative-applied forms, combining them with a scholarly interpretation of art history. Years of participation in ethnographic expeditions and work with museum collections have fostered a deep understanding of authentic artistic traditions.
He is a participant in numerous group exhibitions and a practicing artist working in graphic art, drawing, painting, paper-cut art (vytynanka), artistic wood carving, and painting.
He is also a co-author, together with director, scenographer, actor, and artist Andriy Sendetskyy, of numerous scenographic solutions for the LAD Theatre ScenA8, where visual art is integrated with theatrical space, as well as installations.
Oleh Bolyuk is a member of the International Association of Art to the UNESCO, the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, the National Union of Architects of Ukraine, the Association of Art Critics and Historians, the Shevchenko Scientific Society, the Association of Art Historians of Poland, and the International Association of Culture and Art. He is actively engaged in art education, teaching composition and painting, and organizing exhibitions and creative projects. His work brings together artistic practice, research, and the promotion of cultural heritage, forming a holistic vision of art as a living connection between tradition and contemporary practice.
